Licensed
at 15 in July 1965 in Redfield, SD as WNØCJI, 4 months later as WAØCJI. Main
Amateur Radio interest is EME on 144, 222, 432, 902, 1296, 2304, 3400,
5760, 10368. I was active on most of the early satellites, voice and digital
(AO-10, AO-13, RS-10/11/12/15, FO20/29, AO-16, KO-23, KO-25, UO-22, etc.). I
would like to become active again on the satellites if they ever launch another
good one, maybe GEO? or orbiting the Moon?. Much other
info is listed and pictured on my home page, http://www.kl6m.com. For
1296 MHz Septum feeds for dishes see here: Septum
Feed
I run 1500w Larcan amplifiers on 144 and
222. I have a GS35B amp for 1500w on 432. I run a W6PQL SSPA on
1296 for 600w. I run a 180w Spectrian on 2304
(cross band RX also 2302, 2320, 2400 with a
AR-5000); 110w with a pair of Toshibas on 3400; and a 100w TWTA on
5760. 10368 is a 30 watt GaN.

My 6000 pound, 30 foot
parabolic dish antenna blew down in a 106 mph wind in
2013. A year later I had it back in operation, better than ever.
I'm now QRV digital modes, but CW is primary and occasional SSB. I build
and sell 1296 septum dish feeds and LNAs. I am selling modified 1500 watt Larcan amps for 144 and
222. 6
